Världsbidagen, 20 maj

FN har nyligen antagit en resolution att 20 maj ska bli Världsbidagen (World Bee Day). Initiativtagaren är Slovenien som har drivit frågan under de senaste 3 åren och till slut fick med sig 115 länder. Syftet med dagen är att uppmärksamma binas betydelse för miljön och jordbruk och skapa större medvetenhet om pollineringsinsekter i stort. Vi får fundera på vad vi kan göra här i Sverige 20 maj!

Your support to the World Bee Day initiative is of great importance. We have a moral obligation to ensure our future generations have a clean and healthy environment and diverse and nutrient-rich foods available, for which bees and other pollinators play an important role. Their contribution to the fight against climate change must also be mentioned. And all these commitments can be found under the name of Sustainable Development Goals...

I would like to invite you to join forces and help us preserve vital agriculture, beekeeping and clean environment!
